The Yeezy 700 is the fifth model created by Kanye West for his Yeezy brand. The story began in 2015, the rapper/producer collaborated with Adidas to create his brand and released his own sneaker models. Following the 750, 350, 950 and 350 V2 models, the Yeezy 700 is released in August 2017.
This new silhouette was revealed during the Yeezy Season 5 fashion show. Kanye West is inspired by the “dad shoe” trend. These shoes have a wide, running look, reminiscent of 90s sneakers worn by American dads. Developed and designed by Ye, the design of the Yeezy 700 consists of a mesh and suede base. The sole is equipped with Boost technology, designed by Adidas .

Considered too kitsch by many men and women sneaker fans, the design of this pair of sneakers is subject to much controversy. Completely breaking with the architecture of Yeezy 350 , the pair of shoes draws its features from the lines of jet skis. The name Wave Runner is also a direct reference to this artistic choice.

Exclusively released on Yeezy Supply for the launch of the collection Yeezy Season 5 and delivered during the month of November 2017; the first one Yeezy 700 Wave Runner OG has left its mark on the fashion sphere as well as sneaker fans. Arriving like a UFO this Dad Shoes has established itself as a reference thanks to its color combination with “acid yellow” laces, its combination of materials and its futuristic sole. It is available in many minimalist and effective colors with the Yeezy 700 Analog or the Yeezy 700 Utility Black . But as always the visionary Kanye West was able to draw on its resources to give a second wind with a second version Yeezy 700 V2 . Through a magnificent minimalist colorway named static , we saw this second version revealed. More technical than its big sister, it consists of a reworked cage with the appearance of the 3 stripes Adidas taking the shape of a wave. Many colorways have emerged, notably with a magnificent Yeezy 700 Intertia V2 or the Vanta . But who would have thought that this model would not stop there? The founder of the label Yeezy will shock the whole world by releasing a V3 just before the end of 2019.
There Yeezy 700 V3 Azael appears in a black and cream color that can match the most sober outfits and will delight both men and women. With a futuristic and avant-garde design like the Yeezy 380 , we find a cream white cage glow in the dark revealing a wolf gray color. Kanye West promised us, the price is cheaper than previous models. This is explained by the integration of an old technology adiPRENE present on other Yeezys as with the Yeezy 500 and EVA components like on the famous Yeezy Slide .
